At what age do most people reach their "peak" of beauty?

From what I've seen, people reach their peak of beauty at the end of high school, up to their early twenties. After that, the aging process seems to kick in.

Why do men and woman's beauty peak at such different ages? Is it perception on beauty or genetics?

I know there will be people that argue this point, and I know its NOT ALWAYS the case.. but generally speaking men keep getting better looking up to the age of 25-30 (sometimes older) as in.. a man will be better looking at this age then when he was 20, wheres a woman will go down hill at 18-22 onwards. Why do you think this is? Is it the way we are engineered to view beauty? Feminist's opinions welcome also

Does age and beauty determine who gets hired or not? I know without a doubt that pretty people can easily find employment regardless of background. I applied for a job as doorman at a hotel in 2006 but the manager told me that they were looking for a certain look.

My 7 month looks like she has a beauty spot on her back which has never been exposed to sun. Everyone in moms family is covered with beauty marks. Baby is healthy.
