Ashes Tour Failure for England
Submitted by admin on Sun, 09/11/2011 - 22:10After a dismal Ashes performance against a tough, rugged and highly motivated Australian outfit there are now serious questions marks over team England and the whole management structure which was so successful during 2005. So what has exactly gone horribly wrong for England on a winter tour to Australia that promised so much.
A large percentage of England cricket fans point the finger at severe lack of preparation prior to the first Ashes test in Brisbane. A couple of meaningless one day party games and two first class four day games matches against state opposition was quite clearly not enough preparation time for the batsmen and even more importantly for the bowlers who were severely undercooked for that fateful first test match that set the tone for a miserable tour. Relying on a highly rated seam attack which performed so well against Australia in 2005 potential match winner Steve Harmsion openly admitted he was very nervous before even a ball had been bowled and this is testament to Harmison being under prepared and lacked serious overs. Prior to the Ashes tour England bailed out of ICC Champions Trophy in another inept showing.
In order for England to compete against one of the great sides of world cricket, getting off to a good start was key. With serious concerns over the fitness of champion stand in captain Andrew Flintoff it was extremely disappointing to watch a beleaguered and disinterested Steve Harmison, in fact only Matthew Hoggard, who for the record is a traditional seam bowler, displayed the necessary fight and character needed to take the game to the opposition. Harmison soon announced his retirement from one day cricket after the test series. In this statement he claimed that it was to preserve his test career. Who does he think he is trying to kid? It is well known that Harmison suffers major homesickness and in a post match interview with ex former captain Mike Atherton he openly stated that he could not wait to get back home. With the comfort of a central contract, many fans of English cricket have wondered if the desire and heart of test cricket is still in the blood of the Durham paceman. Only time will tell.
Canned Heat - Louise Blues.wmv
Coach Duncan Fletcher has also come in for some serious criticism. The omission of the best finger spinner in world cricket, Monty Panesar and the insistence of selecting the hopelessly out of form Geraint Jones had contributed to Englands downfall. Many cricket experts such as Geoff Boycott has called for Fletcher to be sacked stating that every coach has a shelf life and that his stubborn approach had led to England failing in Australia. Having said that, Fletchers record as coach of England is excellent and surely has be given a chance to redeem himself in the forthcoming Cricket World Cup to be held in the West Indies, 2007.
The justified cause for optimism after the great series of 2005, English cricket has arrived at a cross junction in the world of international cricket. In the next few months we will see if it was another false dawn or that they have strength of character to bounce back in 2007.

You've heard about it. You've read about it. And now you wonder if you can do it: earn a living from home in Internet marketing.
Perhaps you are a mom with young children who wants to work at home. Perhaps you are retired and looking for income to supplement your pension. Or maybe you are the next gangbuster marketer to hit the Internet!
People from all walks of life -- even kids in high school -- are learning to make money from the Internet and having fun doing it.
They are using Internet marketing analysis to create their strategy. Internet marketing analysis is simply the process of evaluating the various ways you can make money on the Internet and then finding the appropriate marketing methods based on your skills, time, and budget.
Top Ways to Make Money on the Internet
1. Your own products - Create your own e-books, software, or really anything that has a large enough target market and not too much competition.
2. Resale or private label products - Purchase the resale rights to e-books and software for pennies on the dollar and then sell them for whatever you choose for almost pure profit.
3. Affiliate programs - Sell other people's products. For more details visit to www.podcasting-made-easy.com .Many product developers have an affiliate program in which they pay you up to 50% of the price of the product as a commission.
4. Affiliate networks - There are many companies that offer products for whom you can become an affiliate and earn a commission every time someone purchases something from your affiliate link.
5. Auction - Clean out the garage and find treasures to sell on auctions! You can also work with a distributor who ships products. You do the marketing on the auctions, and they do the product shipping.
6. PPC - This is one of the hottest ways to make money on the Internet right now. Just put PPC ads on your website and then when people click on an ad you make money. There are also other search engines and literally dozens of smaller pay-per-click (PPC) programs.
Top Ways to Market on the Internet
1. Websites - List your products or reviews of products on a website or a mini-site, which is basically a one page sales letter. Be sure to use search engine optimization (SEO) on your website so you can get a good search engine ranking.
2. Affiliate websites - When you join an affiliate program, you may get a link to a duplicated website created by the program with your affiliate ID in it. Provide that link to people, and you will earn a commission from their purchases.
3. Opt-in email marketing - Build a list of people who opt in to receive email from you. You can email them your affiliate links or links to the websites that offer your products.
4. Autoresponder - Related to email list building are systems that automatically email your opt-in list at regular intervals about your products and allow you to broadcast to them all at once.
5. Pay-per-click (PPC) advertising - Use Google AdWords to advertise your products. AdWords are those little ads that appear on websites and on the Google search pages. For more information logon to www.squeeze-page-profits.com .A good way to perform your Internet marketing analysis is to create a spread sheet. List the top ways to make money along the left, and list the ways to market along the top.
Search for information about the various ways to make money and ways to market. In each cross-section, write your notes on how you can use the particular marketing technique with a particular income source. Be creative and make this fun!
Pretty soon, you'll have more ideas than you handle. Narrow your plan to just one or two ways to make money to start with, and then add others as you go along. Best of luck ... and don't forget to have fun doing your research!

Google Fixed Their Google Bomb Problem – or Did They?
Submitted by admin on Wed, 09/07/2011 - 10:10George W. Bush. Love him. Hate him. Few people are indifferent.
Regardless of your feelings about the GOPs grandmaster of the most unpopular war since Vietnam, he’s no longer a miserable failure – at least, not according to Google. But I hear that MSN still has the president ranked highly according to that Google Bomb.
Uhhh – What’s A Google Bomb?
Good question. A Google Bomb is when multiple websites use the same anchor text to point to a single website. In 2005, thousands of websites made popular a Google Bomb that used the words “miserable failure†to point to George W. Bush’s bio on the White House website. If you typed the words “miserable failure†in to the Google search box then you would have seen that Bush’s bio was in the No. 1 spot. It wasn’t Google’s fault though many people got irate about it and blamed the search giant.
At the heart of Google Bombing, however, is Google’s algorithms. Some SEOs have suggested calling them link bombs because it is a phenomenon that works at all of the search engines. Nevertheless, in January Google changed its algorithms and George W. Bush is no longer a miserable failure. Amazing how that works!
Well, one SEO has an interesting theory. He believes that Google fixed its algorithms so that negative Google Bombs would disappear but those without negative connotations would not. His evidence for this is the strange “great president†phenomenon, among others. If you go right now and type “great president†in to Google’s search box then guess who rises to the top rank position? That’s right, our favorite miserable failure.
So You Mean I Can Spam Google With Positive Google Bombs?
Well, maybe. It’s just a theory. But theories are meant to be tested. So how do you test this theory?
If it were me, I’d say get all your friends together and point to a website you like with a positive key phrase, then wait and see what happens. But there is a flaw in that thinking. You have two challenges:
1. Competition and
2. Keyword Choice
Think about. The more popular the key phrase, the more websites will be competing for it. That means you’ll have to recruit a lot of websites to participate. Otherwise, you may not succeed.
On the other hand, if you choose a keyword phrase that is so obscure that few people will search for that phrase then why bother? It will be a moot point because no one will ever see your Google Bomb. It’s a little bit of a Catch-22.
Maybe that’s why Google didn’t see fit to fix the Google Bomb situation entirely. Or maybe Google’s top execs are Republican and really think George W. Bush is a great president. I don’t know. You decide. One thing’s for sure. In the court of public opinion Bush has not done so well, but when you have the court of public search on your side it doesn’t really matter. You can bomb whomever you want and who’s going to care?

How To Succeed Despite Fear Of Failure
Submitted by admin on Tue, 08/30/2011 - 22:10Roadmap from Poznan to Copenhagen - Preconditions for Success - Select Committee on Energy Independence and Global Warming - 2009-02-04 - Ahead of the next round of ambitious United Nations climate talks, Chairman Edward J. Markey (D-Mass.) and the Select Committee on Energy Independence and Global Warming held a hearing to explore the challenges facing both the United States and the international community in creating an effective international response to climate change. A panel of diplomatic and climate expert witnesses informed the Select Committee on what must be accomplished prior to the Copenhagen meeting, what to expect with regard to the ongoing negotiation processes, and the challenges for success post-Copenhagen. WITNESS LIST: John Bruton, Delegation of the European Commission and Ambassador to the US; Elliot Diringer, Vice President of International Strategies at the Pew Center on Global Climate Change; Rob Bradley, Director of the International Climate Policy Initiative at the World Resources Institute; Karen Alderman Harbert, President and CEO, Institute for 21st Century Energy. Video provided by the US House of Representatives.
Did you know that Thomas Alva Edison failed more than ten thousand times before he successfully made the lightbulb work? Ten thousand failures. If he had a fear of failure and given up because of this, he would not have been able to do it. He said "I have not failed. I have just found ten thousand ways that won't work". It was but mere feedback to be considered while he tried something else. For him failure was not an option.
Each time something does not work the way you wanted it to, is that a failure? One definition of failure is lack of success, but is lack of success the first or second time that you try to do something mean it is a failure? Not necessarily. Thomas Alva Edsion would have been a miserable failure considering that he failed ten thousand times.
This article discusses how failure can be used as feedback to achieve your objectives. In fact, it will probably be some of the best experiential learning that you can get. When something you did does not work, it is not a failure. It is just not the best step to have taken. This simply means that you now have to figure out what is the better step. Then work on it. What if this step also does not work? Again you get back to thinking and strategizing. Why did this step fail? How different must your next step be to make this work?
The very act of looking at each faiure as a feedback will change your outlook to handling the issue at hand. It does not mean that you may not feel bad about it. It is just that you will be able to replace this feeling by working on what is the next step to take. Instead of beating yourself up over how things worked out, you just get on with the next action to be taken.
When failure is treated as feedback, it becomes one of your best tools for improving. It provides input for error correction. If everything worked well, the learning is minimal. You know how it works in one set of circumstances. You may be misled to believe that you are an expert at this when, in fact, there may be a lot more finer points to be learnt. Not suggesting that you keep failing to learn. Celebrate the successes, but if failure hits, just learn from it.
It is important to have a mechanism so that you are able to detect signs that may indicate that a failure may occur even before it does. Saying that failure is feedback does not mean that you wait till things fail before you start learning from it. First step is to be clear as to where you want to arrive. Write down the steps that are required to arrive at your destination. In your plan, identify checkpoints. They are to help identify if you are heading in the right direction. If you find that you are going off in a tangent, then do an error correction to the path that you are taking. With these continuous adjustments, the chances of failure are reduced.
Next important thing to know is that you are not a miserable failure if you abandon something that does not have the value that you initially thought it had. It is important to identify under what circumstances you would want to abandon whatever the project you are working on. The other possibility that can happen is that you find that your objective may expand or change for something better and sometimes bigger.
For example, contrary to popular belief, Thomas Edison didn't "invent" the lightbulb. He improved upon a 50-year-old idea. While many people had worked on it, no one had developed something that could be used for practical home use. Thomas Edison went on to invent an electric lighting system that contained all the elements necessary to make the incandescent light practical, safe, and economical. While Thomas Edison is known for the lightbulb, did you know that to make it work, Edison actually had to invent a total of seven system elements that were critical to the practical application of electric lights as an alternative to the gas lights that were prevalent in that day? Failure was not an option for him.
There are also ways that you can gain more knowledge from other people's failure, meaning the experience they have gained. If you are working on a project, there may be available "lessons learnt" from previous projects. Go through them. Learn from books. Access the internet. You will be surprised at the extent of knowledge that is available for free in the internet, including articles, forums and blogs.
Treat each failure as an opportunity to learn. Use this desire to learn to overcome your disappointment. You will have no time to be disappointed if you are working on your next possible action. Just do it. You will soon find yourself treating each of this as just another piece of the jigsaw puzzle. You just need to figure out how to fit it in to get the big picture.

Email Marketing Software in the Real Estate Realm
Submitted by admin on Tue, 08/23/2011 - 04:10Email marketing software can revitalize your marketing/advertizing, especially in tough economic times. As a realtor you are in the business of making sure that your listings get noticed, and attract buyers at first contact. With a properly designed email marketing software campaign, you will sell more homes and therefore make more money, and that is the bottom line.
Email marketing software is far less expensive than the traditional paper and print ads, produces materials that look just as professional (if not more), and can track the results of your campaigns, giving you a better idea of the needs of your subscriber base. Because of how easy it is to design an email marketing campaign, it makes sense to have Email marketing software as part of your marketing strategy.
Within minutes you can upload images of the properties you have listed and cut and paste content into the appropriate sections. The better email marketing software will have hundreds of templates for you to choose from in neatly organized categories, so that it will be easy to find whatever it is that suits your marketing needs.
Email marketing software is especially important as economic times begin to falter. Because of how little it costs to access and how minimally time consuming it is to set up email marketing, it is a great alternative to more expensive print ads. So as the typical realtor's budget begins to shrink, email marketing software are a great way to continue to get your name and listings out there to potential clients and other real estate agents.
To determine which email marketing software work best for you, the best method of identifying the top-ranked Email marketing software are by using search engines such as Google or Yahoo.
Here are a few tricks to think about when setting up your email marketing software to create a campaign: Do not use too much bolding, italics, and capital lettering in the main body portion or the subject line of your email. Also, try not to put too many pictures of your products without also balancing those images with text content to support the images. Symbols like exclamation points or dollar signs in your subject line should also be avoided. All these techniques, commonly used to attract attention, also end up attracting spam filters. If you overuse them, your email will not go into your subscribers' inbox, but rather into their spam or junk mail box.
When you are ready, click a button to schedule your email marketing software campaign, and it will automatically go out to the people on your list at the date and time you selected.
Now that your email marketing software campaign is finished and has arrived in your customers' inbox, you will be able to track which of your clients were interested in your marketing campaign. One of the great things about an email marketing program is that it can track 'clicks', and 'opens.' This gives you a percentage breakdown and analysis of which of your customers are opening and clicking on the promotions you have in your email. Also, by adding a 'forward to friend' button, you will be able increase your mailing list, and have a greater chance to have more customers.
Email marketing software is an advanced and cost effective method of staying on top during economic duress. Designing a professional template is the solution to selling more homes and having your name reach all those interested in your listings at a cost effective price. Flip this market up side with email marketing solutions.

Who Can You Trust In Internet Marketing
Submitted by admin on Thu, 08/18/2011 - 09:11One of the most noteworthy technological developments in our generation is the Internet. With its ongoing growth in both capabilities and access, the online influence on our everyday lives becomes more significant every year. That appears to be even more true for 2007.
Along with the more Fun applications, income opportunities in Internet Marketing have inspired millions of people around the world, hoping to cash in on the new Gold Rush. The potential for online wealth is enormous, if you can believe the claims of those who apparently have achieved some success. However, for every opportunity that seems to work, there are many more that lead only to failure.
It has been said that somewhere between 95 and 99.9% of income opportunities found on the internet are at best antiquated or incomplete and at worst are out and out scams. If true, how does one, especially someone fairly new to working online, know what is a good opportunity vs. one that is a bad opportunity? In other words, How Does One Determine Who Can Be Trusted In Internet Marketing?
On one of the Better Business Bureau (BBB) websites, it is stated that: Trust makes up the essential glue that holds the rapidly expanding online market place together. But how do you gain trust when you normally cannot look into the eyes of the internet merchant, nor can you watch his/her body language or listen to voice inflections, little skills that have often helped when evaluating the trustworthiness of offline businesses.
Although online business presents different challenges, there are several things that can be done to help even an Internet Marketing newbie safely evaluate the millions of opportunities that exist online. Most of these activities are a combination of common sense and wisdom gained by others, including the author of this article. It is much better for you, the reader, to learn through the experience of someone else, than to pay for the same mistakes. Then, performing the relevant due diligence can save you much grief (and money).
The first, and arguably, the most important suggestion, is to avoid any opportunities that promise you the world. We have all seen the ads that Almost guarantee that you will make thousands of dollars a day/week/month/year with little or no experience or effort on your part. Even the Forty-Niners of the California Gold Rush 150 years ago expected that they would have to do Some work to become wealthy.
The second suggestion as you evaluate any opportunity is to understand what work actually is performed (and by whom) and where the money really comes from. Although the merchant is not going to tell you a whole lot about the business until you pay for the opportunity, normally there is enough information to provide clues in how it works (or does not work). If it seems too mysterious, more than likely you should pass on it.
Third, make sure that the offer provides some kind of refund policy of 100% (or more) over at least 30 days. Keep in mind, however, that a written guarantee is not an absolute guarantee; it is always possible that the business in question may be shutdown, go bankrupt, or be located in a foreign country and be unreachable. A written guarantee is but the beginning, without which the offer should be rejected at once.
To further research the online opportunity you have one of the most powerful tools available; the internet itself. The fourth suggestion is therefore to use available resources to search for online information that will help you determine how much the offer can be trusted.
One way to do this is to go to the Google website and type in the name of the product, program, or person. One other thing I usually do is to type Scam? after the name to see directly if there is any implication of it being a scam.
Then take a look at the information that comes up. Are there any negative indications? Quite often with Scam? I find one or more forums with the scam question asked followed by several comments about the value of the opportunity. Keep in mind, however, that everyone with a comment has some kind of bias (point of view).
In such places as forums where you may find discussions about the trustworthiness (or lack) of an opportunity, if you do not personally know the people making the statements, you need to ask yourself another related question: How do I know if I can trust what They are saying about the opportunity ?
If someone gives a very positive comment, they could be very honest and accurate or they may be an affiliate of the program (someone who sells the program to others) who is only interested in making money.
That is not to imply that all affiliates are corrupt (I promote affiliate products myself) but some affiliates know only what is listed in the sales letter and have no direct experience with the product. They therefore, do not really know how good/bad the opportunity actually is themselves.
If the statement is negative, that person could be a direct competitor and would benefit from such an attack. Both kinds of reviews are biased, but in a way different from the bias that is really useful to you.
As I said, all people have their point of view, including you, the reader. If you need help in evaluating the trustworthiness and effectiveness of an income opportunity, theoretically, the best person to hear from is someone who has a similar point of view and background as you, and who has actually used the opportunity in a fashion similar to the way that you would use it.
That person would then have achieved the same kind of level of success (or failure) as you would experience. To find such a person has normally been quite difficult, if not impossible. Until now.
A unique website (RatingsHub) exists which provides evaluations of many Internet Marketing opportunities based on direct experiences of hundreds of Internet Marketers. These individuals have a very broad spectrum of experience; from brand spanking new to well seasoned. To minimize the wrong kind of bias, no affiliate or ad sense links are present on the site.
This free resource exists to help everyone interested in starting a successful online business who seeks first hand knowledge in evaluating online opportunities. Everyone who visits the site is also invited to share as well their experiences with any product, program, or person. This tool may therefore also be useful in researching any Internet Marketing opportunity. Its link is listed in the Author/Bio section.
Another resource that may be useful in evaluating opportunities is Whois.net. By entering the relevant domain name (URL) of the merchant or opportunity, you may receive information about the owner and when the business was started. You may also be provided a physical address or phone number that may be used to contact them.
Another useful resource is the Better Business Bureau (BBB). You may go to their site (bbb.com) and input the appropriate address, phone number, or URL. If the company is known and has been operating long enough, a report may be generated with some useful information. If there have been any complaints made against the company or program they will be listed along with the status of their resolutions. This step has saved me on several occasions.
If the website under review has a BBBonline seal, you may click it to check the companys right to use the seal and review its concise background history. The seal can be used only if the company meets strict BBB and BBBonline standards and its presence would go a long way to indicate the program or company is trustworthy.
If, after you have performed your due diligence, you decide to go ahead and purchase the reviewed opportunity I strongly recommend doing so only under secure conditions. Normally, if instead of http:// in the address window, https:// is displayed along with a picture of a lock in the lower right hand section of the window, it should be secure.
This alone does not mean the program is good, as anyone can use this feature. If this is not indicated, you may want to contact the company to see if other safe payment options are available.
I also suggest paying for it with a credit card (believe it or not). Because of the Fair Credit Billing Act, transactions performed with most credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, or American Express) have fraud protection (zero liability). If you do not receive what you pay for just contact the credit card company and they will likely be able to reverse the charges. You cannot do that with cash or personal checks.
However, to minimize any possible headaches, I also recommend that you use the credit card in an indirect manner. Most internet opportunities today accept payment through PayPal (PayPal.com), a third party processor owned by Ebay. This is a very trustworthy company which securely withdraws money from your credit card and transfers it to the merchant without anyone else (except PayPal) seeing your card information.
For those few opportunities which do not accept PayPal, you can still use your credit card safely by using what one company (Citicard) calls Virtual Credit Card. If you subscribe to this free service, you will load software on your computer desktop which allows you to generate a unique set of credit card numbers for each purchase which is referenced to the actual account.
These numbers are then used to complete the transaction. Each set of numbers can only be used by the original merchant and is valid only until the end of the second month following the transaction, reducing the possibilities of another person using your card.
I have used this on several occasions and it has given me peace of mind. You may need to check with your credit card company to see if they offer this feature.

Creating an Effective Email Marketing Software Campaign
Submitted by admin on Thu, 08/18/2011 - 05:13Email marketing software can be a very effective tool in your marketing arsenal. It is cost effective and will often produce a greater ROI than your traditional marketing channels. This is because with email marketing program, you are in total control. You decide what gets said, when it gets said, and to whom it gets said. Then, you can track everything down to the smallest detail. By having total control, with lots of information at your fingertips, you can constantly refine your tactics to become an even better email marketer.
For those who are just starting out with email marketing software and don't yet have past email marketing software campaigns to rely on for information and guidance, there is a tried, tested and true formula you can follow.
This three-part formula works really well for retailers/e-tailers, but can be applied to any industry.
Part 1: Who Are You? What's Happening? Start The Conversation...
The first part of your email should be about you. Obviously, your recipients will already know who you are, since they gave you permission to contact them, so this may sound a bit redundant. But, think of this as the "Hi, how are you?" part of the email. In this first section of your email marketing software campaign, you are really starting the conversation. You don't want to just slap someone in the face with your offer. You've got to work your way into that. So, instead, you can start off by telling them something exciting that has happened at your organization, something new you are releasing, an award you received, some recent media coverage, or anything else you can think of.
You definitely don't want this section to be too long and you do want to try to make it captivating. If you're opening line is "we recently painted the walls a new shade of blue and watched it dry for the past 3 days" then you probably need to give it some more thought. Try to imagine that a friend came up to you and asked "What's new at work?" The first two things that pop into your head are probably good candidates for this first section of your email marketing software campaign.
Part 2: What Are You Offering? What Are You Promoting?
Now it's time for what you, as th

e business owner or marketing manager, probably deem the most important part of the message. In this second section you should present your readers with the specific 'offer' or 'promotion' you are featuring in this email marketing software campaign.
It is best to only pick one or two things to promote or offer in each email. All too often people get excited about creating their email marketing software campaigns and cram a ton of offers into each email. The end result of this is that it dilutes the amount of focus each specific offer gets. You are much better off exercising some self-restraint, picking just one or two things to focus on, and only including those. Remember, you can always save the other offers for future email marketing software campaigns.
Once you've picked what you are going to offer or promote in your email marketing software campaign, be sure to write some compelling ad copy. Remember to think of your audience as you write this text. Think about how they will use the product or service you are promoting. It is often best to be 'solution focused' as opposed to 'feature focused'. This means your text should answer the question of how this product/service will benefit your reader, as opposed to the core features of the product/service. It is fine to include some features, but focusing on how it will benefit your reader will make it a lot more captivating and lead to a greater ROI for your email marketing software campaign.
Part 3: What Do You Want Them To Do Next?
This is an important part of your email marketing software campaign, although often times it goes overlooked. You may think this is implied or totally obvious, but explicitly telling your email marketing software recipient what you want them to do next will lead to much higher conversions.
Do you want your reader to click a link to buy something on your website?
Do you want your reader to reply back to you and request more information?
Do you want your reader to phone you to discuss the offer?
It is important to know exactly what your end-goal is otherwise you can't measure the success properly.
Once you know what it is you want to achieve, then you can make sure you place it explicitly in your email. For example, if you want people to go to your website, put a big button or link that brings them to your site. (Tip: Don't just link people to the homepage of your website, link them to a page related to your offer, ideally where they can make a purchase online.) If you want to get people calling you, put your phone number in big bold letters and tell people right in the email to call you. This is known as a 'call to action' and while you may think it is the logical next step for your reader, by doing a little hand-holding you will get a better response.
By including these 3 parts in your email, your email marketing software efforts will get off to a great start. Of course, as you gain more experience you will be able to modify your emails to better suit your specific audience. But, even as you move forward with your email marketing program, if you keep these three parts in mind, you will put yourself in the best position to achieve great success.

Early e-books were generally written for specialty areas and a limited audience, meant to be read only by small and devoted interest groups. The scope of the subject matter of these e-books included technical manuals for hardware, manufacturing techniques, and other subjects.
Numerous e-book formats emerged and proliferated, some supported by major software companies such as Adobe's PDF format, and others suppo

rted by independent and open-source programmers. Multiple readers naturally followed multiple formats, most of them specializing in only one format, and thereby fragmenting the e-book market even more. Due to exclusiveness and limited readerships of e-books, the fractured market of independents and specialty authors lacked consensus regarding a standard for packaging and selling e-books. E-books continued to gain in their own underground markets. Many e-book publishers began distributing books that were in the public domain. At the same time, authors with books that were not accepted by publishers offered their works online so they could be seen by others. Unofficial (and occasionally unauthorized) catalogs of books became available over the web, and sites devoted to e-books began disseminating information about e-books to the public. Most e-book publishers do not warn their customers about the possible implications of the digital rights management tied to their products. Generally they claim that digital rights management is meant to prevent copying of the e-book.
However in many cases it is also possible that digital rights management will result in the complete denial of access by the purchaser to the e-book.E-book publishing as an industry is growing in the double digits yearly, according to the quarterly reports put out by IDPF. Among the first Internet-only publishers of new e-books were Boson Books, Hard Shell Word Factory and Online Originals, all founded in the mid-1990s? Each pioneered different aspects of what has since become common practice amongst e-book publishers, e.g. the support of multiple formats including PDFs, the payment of much higher royalty rates than conventional publishers, and the online presentation of free samples. For more details you can login to www.ebook-marketing-exposed.com. Hard Shell Word Factory set the first professional standards for commercial e-books and pioneered author-friendly contracts. Online Originals was the first e-book publisher to win mainstream book reviews (in The Times) and a nomination for a major literary prize (the Booker Prize).
Since the late 1990s, the many newcomers to e-book publishing have included most major print publishers. At the same time, many established e-publishers started to offer print versions of some of their titles. Thus the line between the two is fast blurring.
